Who I am
This website, thestuartpatrick.com, is run by Stuart Patrick, a sole trader based in the United Kingdom. I’m responsible for any personal information collected through it.
What I collect
- If you email me: your name, email address and whatever you choose to tell me. I use it only to reply, and I don’t add you to any mailing list.
- Technical information: like most websites, my web host and Cloudflare (which protects and speeds up the site) process technical data such as your IP address, browser type and the pages you visit, so the site works and stays secure.
- Short link logs: when you use one of my short links, the site records that the link was used. It doesn’t store your IP address.
I don’t sell your information, and there are no accounts or sign-up forms on this site.
Cookies
This site uses only the cookies needed for it to work. When you click an affiliate link, the shop or affiliate network you visit (such as Amazon, Awin, Impact or the brand’s own store) may set its own cookies so the sale can be credited to me. Those cookies are covered by that company’s own privacy policy.
Affiliate links
Some links on this site are affiliate links. I don’t see your personal or payment details when you buy something. I only see that a sale happened. See my Affiliate Disclosure for more.
How long I keep information
Emails are kept only as long as needed to deal with your message. Technical logs are kept for a limited period by my host and Cloudflare.
Your rights
Under UK data protection law you can ask to see, correct or delete the personal information I hold about you, or object to how it’s used. Email me and I’ll respond within one month. If you’re unhappy with how I’ve handled your information, you can complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office (ico.org.uk).
Changes to this policy
If I change how this site handles information, I’ll update this page and the date at the top.
